i've been trying to get back into reading recently! my favourite tool for this has been libby, an app that connects to your local library and grants you access to their ebook/audiobook collection on your phone, so at least when i'm spending an ungodly amount of hours with my brain in suspended animation due to the insane power that my phone wields over me, some of that will become valuable reading time!

in the spirit of combining things i want to do with things i'm unhealthily obsessed with, i've decided to make it my mission to read every book that lee juyeon and choi chanhee of kpop boy group the boyz (who recently came back with their third single album MAVERICK) have recommended to fans, and i will be compiling that list (and a list of sources) under the cut, as well as maybe linking to reviews if i decide to review the books i read? tbd i suppose.

i'm really excited to do this! their recommendations include a lot of korean literature (...duh), which i have not read very much of, so i think it'll be really cool to ~expand my horizons~ and all that jazz (although i'm sure it'll also mean that a lot of the books i will not be able to find in english ...). i also love both juyeon and chanhee very much. they're both such sweet and thoughtful and interesting people, and i'm excited to dive into some books that have impacted them.
